The Nike Waffle One Crater “USA” is a patriotic colorway of the retro-inspired shoe made with environmentally conscious materials. The Waffle One is a casual lifestyle sneaker with a throwback vibe, one that salutes Nike’s collaboration with Sacai on the LDWaffle as well as Undercover and Nike’s Daybreak. Essentially, the silhouette fuses elements of classic Nike running shoes like the LDV, Waffle Racer, and Daybreak into a modern presentation. The design features an airy, semi-translucent white mesh base with white leather overlays. A red pull tab with “USA” branding is incorporated into the design of the tongue. Additional “USA” branding is found on the pull tab on the back of the shoe. Similar to the sacai x Nike LDWaffle, the Waffle One employs a stacked foam midsole for a future-forward aesthetic. Underfoot, a speckled Crater sole made from recycled materials completes the look.
