The Supreme x Nike Air Max Tailwind 4 “Black” is one of two colorways of the premium collaboration on the classic Nike running shoe. In March of 2019 Supreme debuted the first-ever retro of the Tailwind 4, a late-90s Air Max running shoe. The streetwear giant presented the model in a premium construction built with a bouclé textile base with leather overlays. This colorway features a black and white bouclé base with embroidered striping and black nubuck overlays. Hyper Cobalt accents are found on the Swoosh branding and mesh heel panel. Iridescent gold piping and reflective hits add the final detailing. Supreme branding is added to the tongue tab, heel, and insole. The Supreme x Nike Air Max Tailwind 4 “Black” released on March 21, 2019 as part of the brand’s Spring/Summer 2019 (SS19) season.
