The Nike Air Max Penny 1 "Penny Story" is a colorway of Anfernee “Penny” Hardaway’s first signature shoe that’s inspired by the 1997 Super Bowl commercial, “Lil Penny’s Super Bowl Party.” The shoe’s color scheme takes inspiration from the colors found in the opening title card illustration of the commercial. Specifically, the shoe features a white leather base that’s contrasted with Light Lemon Twist accents for the jewel Swoosh, piping, Air max unit in the heel, and on the Nike and Penny branding.
