Air Max 97 "Kaomoji" DD9598 100

The Nike Air Max 97 “Kaomoji” is a Japanese anime inspired look for classic retro running shoe. Charmingly quirky, the “Kaomoji” dials up the fun on the classic ‘90s silhouette with removable “Kaomoji” patches that can be attached to the tongue. The rest of the design is kept minimalistic with white tumbled leather on the mudguard and white mesh under the wavy black-and-grey leather panels. An embroidered Court Purple Swoosh appears above on the white mesh branding window above the white rubber midsole on either side of the shoe. The regal shade of purple appears on the nylon pull tab on the tongue and on the liner, as well. Volt “Air Max” branding can be found on the black nylon strip on the heel. Anime inspired “nike!” insignia is printed on the insole. A full-length visible Air unit with neon accenting in the midsole provides a responsive ride. Release date: January 19, 2021.
