The Air Jordan 17 "University Blue" is an original colorway of Michael Jordan’s seventeenth signature shoe inspired by his alma mater, the University of North Carolina, that was reissued in 2024. Originally released in 2004, the Jordan 17 Low returned as a retro sneaker in the “University Blue” or “Carolina” colorway for the first time in 2024. The upper has a white leather construction and a University Blue-colored Dynamic Fit inner sleeve that provides optimal support for the wearer. The heel of the Jordan 17 has a distinctive chrome strip, while a unique lace system helps ensure a lockdown fit. Underfoot, Jordan Brand supplies the Air Jordan 17 Low with a full-length shank plate and a rear TPU heel stabilizer for added support.
