The Air Jordan 1 Low OG “Chinese New Year” is a limited edition colorway of Michael Jordan’s first signature shoe that celebrates the traditional Chinese holiday. Limited to 8500 units, the “Chinese New Year” Jordan 1 Low is a desirable shoe that also shows love to the classic “Bred” colorway by employing black and red panels into its design. Various floral designs are embroidered into the black and red canvas panels found on the forefoot, mid-panel, eyelets, and heel, respectively. A University Red canvas Swoosh logo appears on either side of the shoe. Jordan Brand places a gold “Wings” emblem on the back of the shoe and “Nike Air” branding can be found on the tag of the black nylon tongue. No ordinary Air Jordan 1 Low, the “Chinese New Year” comes packaged inside of a commemorative shoe box with traditional Chinese decorations. A red rope with a gold tassel wraps around the ankle to finish off the look. Release date: January 31, 2021.
